hell Exists!
It is IMPOSSIBLE to read the Bible and not realize the Bible describes a literal place called hell! To read otherwise, demands either willful misinterpretation or the deliberate distortion of the scriptures. You may reject it. You may refuse to believe it. But you can not ignore it. It is there!
Jesus was a man of His word. He said things EXACTLY as they should be understood! Jesus did not mince His words like many fake televangelists who are keen on keeping the cash flowing by preaching the heretic prosperity gospel! .
Hell is a major topic in the Word of God. And it should be! The Bible continually warns of a place called Hell. As a matter of fact, the Word of God has more to say on Hell than it does on Heaven. The Lord Jesus Christ in the New Testament spends much time warning about hell. Jesus preached about hell more than any other subject. The Bible contains more verses that teach on Hell than there are that teach on Heaven!
Hell is a prepared place of judgment burning with the wrath of God. You cannot travel very far in the gospels without crossing paths with hell. There are over 162 references in the New Testament alone which warns of hell. And over 70 of these references were spoken by the Lord Jesus Christ. The Old Testament contains over 67 direct references to hell. In the King James Bible, the word “hell” occurs 23 times in the New Testament and 31 times in the Old Testament. Scores of scriptures confirm hell is a real place.
HELL IS A REAL PLACE
Hell is not a state of existence as taught by many false cults nowadays, it is a real place! Millions of people today deny the reality of Hell. Many false religions have declared that hell is nothing more than a state of the mind. Those people today who mock and deny the existence of a literal Hell that burns with fire are calling God a liar.
In Matthew Chapter 13, the Lord Jesus says the unsaved are “cast INTO” or “go INTO” a place – a furnace or a fire. The Bible uses the phrase “cast into” 44 times in varying contexts, and every time, it refers to a real, literal place.
“So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, And shall cast them INTO THE FURNACE OF FIRE: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.”
Matthew 13:49-50, KJV
Clearly, Jesus is not referring to a state of existence, but a REAL place of fire that lost people are “cast into.” Every word the Lord Jesus spoke about hell clearly describes a real place. Hell is as real as Heaven. Hell is as much the work of a Holy God as is Heaven. If there is no hell – there is no heaven!
LAZARUS AND THE RICH MAN IS NOT A PARABLE!
“And in HELL he lift up his eyes, being in torments…” Luke 16:23
Luke 16:19-31 is NOT a parable! In His parables, Jesus never used specific names; but in this passage of scripture he speaks of Lazarus and Abraham. Also, when the Lord Jesus speaks in “parables,” He later explains the parable, but in Luke 16, the Lord Jesus gives no “parable” explanation. It is clearly NOT a parable. Luke 16:19-31 stands as told – a real event and not a parable.

It would be misleading for Jesus to speak of Hell as a literal place of “torment” and “flames” if it weren’t so. Jesus was a man of His word, He meant what He said and said what He meant. The passage of scripture on Lazarus and the rich man is clearly NOT to be considered as a parable! Either you believe the Bible or you don’t. There is NO middle ground. Listen, Hell is a real place that is burning with the wrath of God. It is a real place of torment.

23 “And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in TORMENTS. . . “
24 “. . . for I am TORMENTED in this FLAME.”
28 “. . .PLACE OF TORMENT.”
The Eternity of Hell
Some people teach that hell will only be for a very long time and then will end. They also say that after people are punished for a very long time, they will be eventually destroyed. Folks, do not be fooled, God put in man a spirit that lasts forever. Eternal means eternal. Just look how the Bible warns of the eternity and permanence of hell!
everlasting fire — Matthew 18:8, 25:41
everlasting punishment — Matthew 25:46
everlasting chains — Jude 1:6
eternal damnation — Mark 3:29
eternal judgment — Hebrews 6:2
The rich man in Luke 16 asks for Lazarus to deep his finger in water and drop it on his tongue to quench his thirst. The man never even asked to get out because it was clear to him that he was there for good. He knew he was there forever.
“Beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; How that they told you there should be MOCKERS in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.” -Jude 1:17-19, KJV
Where is Hell Located?
The Bible does not describe an unknown, mystic place of hell. The Bible even provides the geographical location of hell. No fact has ever been proven contrary to the Word of God. Not one. Every discovery of TRUE science, history, and archeology, agree with the Word of God (1 Timothy 6:20). The place of hell is no different.
The Bible clearly describes the location of Hell as being in the center of the Earth. In Numbers chapter 16, the Bible records the rebellion and destruction of Korah. As a consequence of their rebellion, the Lord opens the earth and they go down alive into the pit of hell! The Bible openly gives us the location of hell in verses such as Matthew 12:40, Ephesians 4:9, Ezekiel 32:21, Ezekiel 31:14, Ezekiel 32:18.
300,000 People Die everyday!
There are an estimated 8 billion people in the world. If a person lives to be an average of 70, how many people will die on average in a day? Divide that number by 70, then by number of days in the year, which is 365. The answer is 313,112 people per day. This is about 4 people every second! Yet, this is ONLY by natural cause due to old age.
Obviously, the number is likely to be higher with all the suicides, wars, accidents, murders and natural disasters taking place. The Bible clearly teaches that FEW people make it to heaven; MANY go into eternal destruction. Sadly, MOST of these 300,000 people end up in hell!
You Choose Hell
Many people are fond of saying, “A loving God wouldn’t put His creation in hell.” Well, the truth is that God doesn’t put anyone in hell–their sin of unbelief puts them there! Men and women go to hell because they choose the devil’s way and reject the Lord Jesus. If you say “yes” to Jesus, hell won’t be your final destination; If you say “no” to Jesus, hell will be your eternal home. It’s Jesus or hell, turn or burn.
Regardless of whether you believe it or not, hell exists! God is holy and cannot allow any sin into His kingdom. As a result, when people die in their sins they are forever banished from the presence of God to a place called hell. Remember that Hell was created for the devil and his angels”
“Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, PREPARED FOR THE DEVIL AND HIS ANGELS.”—(Matthew 25:41)
Incidentally, Satan won’t be ruling in the lake of fire. He’ll be screamin’ and hollerin’ just like everybody else-the devil…shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. (Revelation 20:10, KJV)
Don’t lie and say God puts people in hell! Get right with Jesus and you won’t go there! God does not want you in hell! Look at these scriptures:
“The Lord is…not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9, KJV
“As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die.” Ezekiel 33:11, KJV
Hell and Modern Bible Versions
The Bible contains an overwhelming amount of evidence showing that Hell is a literal place that burns with fire. The word Hell occurs 31 times in the Old Testament of the King James Bible. If you are using the New Age, modern versions from this cold Laodicean age, then you will have difficulties trying to comprehend the subject on Hell. For instance, the popular new age bible, The New International Version (NIV), does NOT contain the word “hell” in the Old Testament. That’s right, the word “hell” has been completely removed in the Old Testament of the NIV! Modern English bibles will kill your faith in Jesus Christ! Trust the authorized 1611 King James Version ONLY!
New Age bible readers take to their heels and throw tantrums when you open the King James Bible. If you want to see sparks fly, then open the King James bible! I have been insulted and called names because I have quoted from the King James Bible; have had fellow friends turn against me; I was told that I am “in serious need of a psychiatrist”; and had people I thought were brethren say bad things behind my back; all because I read them a scripture from a King James Bible. I know what it’s like to be hurled insults at and receive death threats because of defending the Authorized KJB.
The reason why sin lovers hate the King James Bible with a passion is because it tells them of a place that burns with fire and brimstone, nothing can be further from the truth. They will do anything to try and extinguish the flaming echoes of hell from the Word of God. My friend, if you are not saved, you’d better ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins so that you escape this fiery place called Hell. This may be the last chance you have to determine whether you will spend eternity smoking or non-smoking…
And the SMOKE OF THEIR TORMENT ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have NO REST DAY NOR NIGHT, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.- Rev 14:11
Do You Want to be Saved?
Unless you are WILLING to be saved, God will NOT save you. God says, “WHOSOEVER WILL…” The Bible teaches that if we want to be forgiven our sins then we must first see ourselves as sinners deserving of hell fire and in need of a Savior. You must acknowledge that you are GUILTY, and deserve to go to Hellfire as punishment for your sins (Romans 3:19; 6:23; Revelation 21:8) then ask Jesus to forgive you. Do you see your need for Christ? It is very simple to get saved. God made it simple so that you will not have to spend eternity in the dungeons of Hell.
What to do
Friend, I plead with you, do not make the mistake to die without Jesus. Here are things you must acknowledge to be saved.
- You are a sinner under the condemnation of God’s Law (Romans 3:10,23). The entire matter of salvation deals with OUR SINS. You can put all the faith in Christ you want, but it means nothing if you’re in denial about your sins… “If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us” (1st John 1:10). Repentance is when we come to the realization that we have sinned AGAINST GOD and by faith we turn to Christ to be forgiven of our sins.
- You are GUILTY, and deserve to go to Hellfire as punishment for your sins (Romans 3:19; 6:23; Revelation 21:8).
- Jesus Christ, God in the flesh (God’s Son), died upon the cross t o pay for your sins (John 3:16-18; Romans 5:8). It is Jesus’ blood that takes our sins away (1st John 1:7).
“The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:” Romans 8:16, KJV
This is how you will get to know that you are now born again. It is ONLY the Holy Spirit that confirms in your heart that you are now saved, NOT your pastor. I know of churches that tell people to “come up front” and say a certain prayer after a pastor, with a raised had, afterwards these deceived individuals are told that they are now saved. These are the games being paraded in churches today which are binding people in deception and leading many to Hell. This is simply unscriptural, folks, your pastor has no right to declare anyone saved, he is just as rotten a sinner like you and me. Only a Holy God can save you!
WHAT NEXT...?
Friend, I did not write this pamphlet to incite fear in you. But I endeavor to persuade you to flee from the wrath to come; to be prepared to stand before the judgment-seat, and to be suited to enter into heaven. Of all the mistakes which you think you might have done in your life, you haven’t done the worst yet. To die without the Lord Jesus Christ will be the worst mistake that you’ll ever make; Don’t ever make that once off mistake of being caught dead without Jesus Christ. One day you will wake up from your bed for the last time and will cross over into eternity. Some have already died without Christ and are in hell right now. You still alive and have a chance to be saved, DON’T WASTE IT! HELL IS REAL.
